Partner with Around Lex

Tell your story. Give people a next step.

A clear introduction to your business, with material you can use on your own channels. Start with one agreed piece of work.

One launch pilot, with a clear scope.

Around Lex is getting started. Audience figures and advertising results have not been established. The pilot pays for agreed writing and creative work. No traffic or sales are promised.

A free listing comes first.

Businesses can be included in our editorial directory using public facts. Basic inclusion, factual corrections, and ownership verification are free. You do not need a paid plan to keep your information accurate. Verification does not buy a recommendation or a higher editorial rank.

Agree the work before we start.

  1. Tell us what is coming up. Share the business, timing and the material you need.
  2. Confirm scope and inputs. We agree the output, approved links, image rights, payment, cancellation terms and a delivery date in writing. You name one person to approve the work and supply the facts and assets they can authorize.
  3. Review and use the material. You receive the agreed files, review the facts and send one combined revision request. We ask for written acceptance of the finished work; silence is not approval.

The proposed first draft is due within five business days after scope is agreed, complete inputs arrive and a production slot is confirmed. Send the consolidated revision within five business days of that draft. Final delivery timing is agreed with you.

An inquiry does not place an order. No payment is collected here.

The full profile (303 words)

A little less planning. A little more Lexington.

Sometimes the hardest part of getting out is choosing where to start. One person wants to be outside. Someone else wants to keep spending down. You find an event, then open a few more tabs to work out the date, the address and what admission actually covers.

Around Lex is an independent Lexington guide being built around that decision. The idea is simple: put a few useful possibilities and the details that matter in one place, then help you choose a day that fits.

The guide brings together selected organizer events, local places and original complete outing plans. The plan finder can narrow that catalog by date, part of town, indoor or outdoor setting, listed admission and interests. Complete plans also include a suggested visit allowance. Each match explains the information behind it, with an official source and the date the details were last checked.

That distinction matters. Free admission does not mean a whole day costs nothing. A suggested museum visit is not a reservation. An outdoor option is not a promise about the weather. Around Lex points readers back to the organizer or venue for the current details before leaving home.

Readers can compare complete outings, open directions, prepare a sharing email and save an exact dated choice in their browser. Those saves do not require an account, and they do not sync between devices. If a listing changes, the site shows what its current catalog knows instead of quietly moving a saved plan to another date.

Zach Collins is building Around Lex as a useful local business with room to earn trust over time. The starting catalog is deliberately selected, not a claim to cover everything in Lexington. The next step is listening to people making real weekend plans and improving the information that helps them get out the door.

Caption 1: A smaller shortlist

78 words. Introduce the project and invite feedback when it opens.

What should we do around Lexington this weekend? Around Lex is being built to make that decision easier. Start with a few sourced events and complete outing plans, then narrow them by date, area, setting and listed admission. Each option keeps the practical details and official source close by. Bring a real plan you are trying to make and tell us what information would help you choose. Our starting catalog is selected, with official links for checking changes.

Caption 2: Free admission, clearer expectations

75 words. Explain an editorial standard without making a price guarantee.

Free admission is a useful starting point, but it is not the full cost of an outing. Travel, food and optional activities can still add up. Around Lex keeps those distinctions visible beside selected Lexington events and plans, along with a source link and a checked date. The guide is getting started with a selected catalog. The aim is a simpler choice with fewer surprises, while leaving the latest word with the organizer or venue.

Caption 3: Keep the date you chose

69 words. Explain exact-date saves and their device and web-address limits.

Found a possibility worth keeping? Around Lex lets you save an exact event date or complete outing in your browser, without an account. Reopen the page to see the latest information in our catalog, then check the official source before leaving. Saves stay on that device and web address; check official details before relying on a saved choice. We are testing whether this small convenience makes weekend planning easier.

A few useful answers

What could I use the Spotlight for?

Your profile arrives as an editable text file for your website or email. Choose three written captions, also in editable text, or three 1080 × 1350 PNG cards in one agreed layout. Cards use up to three photos you supply with permission and include suggested alt text. Extra sizes, editable design files and publishing to your accounts are outside the pilot.

We agree your reuse rights in writing before work, including the rights attached to supplied photos. Any Around Lex placement is a separate written decision and is labeled as paid.

What do I need to provide?

One clear purpose, the facts and destination link you approve, any required brand guidance, and one person who can approve the budget and copy. For cards, supply the photos and permission to use them. Please keep customer records and private contact lists out of the brief. If the inputs or timing do not fit, we agree a new scope before you commit.

What counts as the one revision?

One combined set of changes to the agreed profile and captions or cards, using the original brief and supplied assets. A new campaign, a second design direction or more assets needs a separate quote. We correct our factual or file errors without using up that revision. A photoshoot, video and ongoing updates are not included.

How will we know it was useful?

Before starting, choose one real use and when you intend to use it. At delivery, check that the files open, the facts are right and the agreed outputs are complete. With your permission, we can check in after 14 days to ask which assets you used, what they saved you and what you would change. You can share a public link or a simple answer; we do not need your account access or customer data.

That is a usage check, not an advertising performance report. Traffic, sales, ongoing account management and a public testimonial are not part of the purchase.

Can I buy a better position in the directory?

No. The pilot buys the agreed creative work. Basic listings and corrections remain free; any separate paid placement is visibly labeled.

Can you promote a launch or seasonal offer?

Tell us the date, audience, decision maker and approved offer details. We will first check whether the Spotlight scope fits. There is no guaranteed slot or automatic campaign.

Do you already have advertising results?

No established audience or sales results are available yet. Newsletter sponsorships and paid audience packages are not being sold at launch.

Have a local audience to help?

If you run a neighborhood group, welcome program or guest guide, we would like to learn what local information helps your community. Sharing arrangements are agreed individually.

Just need to share an event?

Basic legitimate event submissions and corrections are free.
