What we got wrong, and what we changed
When a listing turns out to be wrong, it gets fixed and recorded here: what the page said, what changed, when, and the official page that shows the right fact. Spot something? Send a correction.

AfroBeats Dance Class at the Lyric
- What it said
- Before you go said “The page lists no price or sign-up, so check with the Lyric before your first class.” The page gave no way to reach the Lyric, and the only email address on it was ours, in the box for organizers.
- What changed
- The wording could be read as free with no sign-up, and the page showed no way to reach the organizer. It now says the Lyric’s page does not list a price or say whether you need to sign up, so ask the Lyric before your first class, and gives the Lyric’s phone, 859-280-2201, and email, info@historiclyric.com. Every event page now says who to ask, and the organizer box says Around Lex lists events and does not run them.

Downtown Lexington Holiday Parade
- What it said
- The listing was titled “Lexington Christmas Parade.”
- What changed
- The organizer calls it the Downtown Lexington Holiday Parade, so the listing now uses that name and notes the tree and menorah lighting in Triangle Park afterward.

Horror Murder Movie Club: The Haunting (1963)
- What it said
- The listing called the library's film club the “Horror Movie Club.”
- What changed
- The library's event page names it the Horror Murder Movie Club, so the listing now uses that name and gives the room, the Farish Theater.

Something to join: regular groups
- What it said
- Four recurring game nights were listed with a Meetup page as their only source: Lexington Chess Meetup at Brewer Dude, Wednesday board game night at The Rusty Scabbard, Family game night at Barnes & Noble Hamburg, and Beer and Boardgames at West Sixth Brewing.
- What changed
- All four were removed. A regular group needs its host's or organizer's own page as the source, and none was found.

Breeders’ Cup World Championships
- What it said
- Tickets were listed as “Trackside general admission from $85” without naming a day, which read as both Friday and Saturday.
- What changed
- The official ticket page offered trackside general admission only for Friday, from $85. The listing now says Saturday general admission is not available on that page.

Lexington farmers markets this winter
- What it said
- The guide said the Saturday market stays at the Fifth Third Pavilion in Tandy Park every week through the winter, and that the Southland Sunday market closes after October.
- What changed
- The market’s dated notice moves the Saturday market to Greyline Station starting November 7 and adds a Southland market on Sunday, November 1. The guide now says so and lists those dates.
