Editorial & sponsorship policy
Good information. Clear relationships.
How information gets here
We use organizer, venue, city, and other primary sources to check event dates, times, locations, and admission. Our summaries use original wording. Source links and check dates appear on listings. A check date records a past review; it is not a live status guarantee.
Emailed event suggestions receive private editorial review. Neither a submission nor an automated suggestion publishes itself. Missing details remain unconfirmed. We do not invent reviews, attendance, availability, awards, or next year’s dates.
Changes and corrections
Cancelled and rescheduled events keep a clear notice on their detail pages. Cancelled events are excluded from upcoming plans. Send a correction with the affected page and an official source where possible. We prioritize imminent events; no response time is guaranteed.
An unresolved date question stays in our review queue even when a listing was checked recently. We keep an explanatory page and pause its date recommendations and calendar downloads until the schedule is confirmed. A blocked source check is not a new cancellation or postponement announcement. Questions about a particular visitor detail remain scoped to that detail.
Dated guides keep the dates of their original edition. When those dates or their review deadline pass, we take them out of current recommendations and label them for reference. Each guide has its own review record. A new website build never counts as a new source check.
Business listings and ownership
We may add a free editorial business profile from public, primary sources without an owner submission. An “Unclaimed editorial listing” label means the business has not verified or approved the profile. It is not a customer, sponsor, or endorsement claim. We write our own summaries and do not copy reviews, logos, or photographs without appropriate rights.
Basic corrections and ownership verification are free. A claim request never grants automatic editing access. We confirm the requester’s authority through an independently checked business contact or official website before making any ownership change. Please do not send identity documents or payment details. Requests to correct, remove, or limit information receive editorial review; payment is never required to review them.
Paid and editorial content
A paid placement is labeled “Paid partnership” or “Sponsored” beside the content. Advertising does not purchase factual verification, editorial approval, a hidden ranking, or exclusion of other legitimate businesses. We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic, leads, or sales.
Basic event suggestions, ordinary inclusion decisions, and corrections remain free. Partners can buy defined creative services or advertising space. Any affiliate relationship will be disclosed near its link.
Photos and ownership
Images need permission or an appropriate license. Decorative illustrations are not photographs of real events. We disclose our own business relationships, including Evening Glow, when relevant to a listing or recommendation.
What we measure
A view, outbound click, email confirmation, inquiry, ticket purchase, and in-store sale are different actions. Reports describe only what was measured. We do not sell individual subscriber details to advertisers.
