The Lyric’s Purple & Blues concert with Ally Venable, Tee Dee Young and Patricia Mathis opens its doors at 5 pm on October 26, with $25 general admission and a separate performance time still unpublished. The Burl lists free admission for Purple Experience’s Prince tribute on October 29, outdoors, with doors at 7 pm and music at 8 pm. On October 30, The Robert Cray Band plays the Opera House at 7:30 pm, and Johnny Blue Skies & the Dark Clouds play Rupp Arena, with doors at 7 pm and the show at 8 pm. Shakey Graves plays outdoors at The Burl on October 31, with doors at 6:30 pm, music at 8 pm and $38.50 advance admission before fees. Mushroomhead and Fear Factory play Manchester Music Hall on November 3, with doors at 6 pm and music at 7 pm. UK’s free Trumpet Studio Recitals run November 4 from 8 to 9 pm in Singletary’s Recital Hall. Bang on a Can All-Stars performs music by Philip Glass and Steve Reich in Singletary’s Concert Hall on November 6 at 7:30 pm, with $34 adult and $21 student tickets and free admission for UK students. November 8 has two free UK concerts: Percussion Ensemble at 3 pm in the Concert Hall and Jazz Combos at 7:30 pm in the Recital Hall.

UK’s free Folklore and Fairytales chamber recital starts at 7:30 pm on November 10 in Singletary’s Concert Hall. Hot Freaks plays The Burl on November 11, with doors at 7 pm, music at 8 pm and $20 advance admission before fees. Christone “Kingfish” Ingram plays Manchester Music Hall on November 14, followed by STS9 on November 15; both list doors at 7 pm and music at 8 pm. UK’s Jazz Ensemble and Lab Band perform November 17 at 7:30 pm in Singletary’s Recital Hall, with $14 adult and $7 student tickets; UK students can claim one free ticket at the ticket office with student ID. Jackson Dean plays Manchester Music Hall on November 18, with doors at 7 pm and music at 8 pm; the venue page did not publish a price. Black Stone Cherry plays Manchester Music Hall on November 27, with doors at 7 pm and music at 8 pm; the venue page did not publish a price. Magnolia Boulevard plays Friendsgiving shows at The Burl on November 27 and 28, with doors at 7 pm, music at 8 pm and $20 advance admission before fees, or $35 for both nights. The Lyric lists a Black Friday Concert Series on November 27 but has not posted performers, a start time or a price. Maizie Manna, Zoe Speaks and Appalatin close the month at The Burl on November 29, with doors at 6 pm, music at 7 pm and $17 advance admission before fees.
