Saturday: a quieter hour at Central Library

Prefer an indoor break? Central Library lists Saturday hours of 9:30 am–5 pm at 140 East Main Street, and its holidays and closures page lists no closure on October 31. Browse at your own pace. This is an independent visit, not a scheduled program; check the library for closures and program requirements. Central Library is also one of Fayette County’s six early-voting centers. The Fayette County Clerk lists early voting on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday before Election Day, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and the State Board of Elections lists those days as October 29 to 31 this year, so registered Fayette County voters can vote early during a Saturday visit.

Keep the extras and weather in mind

Free admission does not cover parking, transport, food or vendor purchases. The watch party is outdoors, so plans may change with the weather. Read the official links in each section and the sources below again before leaving; if the weather or crowds do not suit your group, make a different plan rather than treating this list as a reservation.
