Six parks take reservations

The city says outdoor rental shelters are available by reservation only at Jacobson, Masterson Station, Shillito, Southland, Veterans and Idle Hour parks. Shelters range in size and amenities, and the rentals page has a shelter map for each park. Other parks have first-come, first-served shelters.

What it costs and when

Rental fees range from $60 to $130 a day, as of October 21, 2026, and the city adds sales tax information on the same page. Park hours are generally 8 am to dark. Food, decorations and anything else for the party are on you.
