Bags

Keeneland says it does not have a clear-bag policy. Duffle bags, large totes, backpacks, drawstring bags and luggage are not allowed; diaper bags and ordinary totes are.

Dress code

Keeneland sets three levels by area. Casual areas allow denim and shorts. Business casual and business formal areas do not allow denim, shorts, athletic wear or flip-flops, and business formal areas require a jacket and tie for men. Children 12 and under are exempt. Check which level applies to your seat before you go.

Re-entry, gates and non-race days

Re-entry is allowed with a hand stamp. Gates open at 11 am after a security sweep. On days without racing, the grounds are open daily, parking is free in the morning before 10 am, and leashed dogs are welcome. The fall meet ended October 24, 2026; Breeders' Cup days have their own rules on the Breeders' Cup site.
