About this event

The Arboretum lists a Mindful Nature Walk, 12 to 2 pm, on Sunday, November 15 and Sunday, December 20, 2026, at 500 Alumni Drive, led by Craig Sargent, an emeritus UK biology professor. The group alternates walking in silence with sharing. The Arboretum asks that you can walk for two hours and says children are welcome if they take part as mindful hikers. Pets are not allowed except service animals. Walks go ahead in wet and cold weather but not thunderstorms or extreme cold, and participants are contacted by 9 am if conditions are unsafe.
